A family owned business located in the Old First Ward section of Buffalo, NY. Designers Folding Box and its employees have taken pride in providing a quality product with a strong emphasis on servicing all our customers with the trust and loyalty they deserve. Since 1954 we have specialized in the structural design and manufacturing of folding cartons and paperboard products for many types of industries. Our capabilities allow us to run orders from a minimum of 500 cartons up into the millions.
Several pioneers of the folding carton industry have taken part in the creation and success of Designers Folding Box over the years such as James R. Winney, Nicholas J. Perrelli and Eugene Zilka.
In the 1960’s innovations such as the untimed right angle gluer and other patents were developed at Designers Folding Box and sold for the advancement of the company.
In 1983 Nicholas Perrelli wrote a book titled The Secrets of Block Die Making and A “one-Piece” Block Die.
In 1985 a longtime friend of Nicholas Perrelli, James R. Winney, formally of Wagner Folding Box and Fort Orange Paper Company, joined the company in the later stages of his life along with his son and current owner Jeffrey Winney. With the addition of Jeff’s son James, daughter Sandra and son-in-law Jeff, Designers Folding Box has become a three generation family owned business.
As an added value to our customers, in the 1990’s Designers Folding Box became a distributor of quality industrial packaging products and supplies, enabling us to become a full service source for all your packaging needs.
